Erin Iannacchione, MLS
Founding Director
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina
Erin Iannacchione is a biopharma research consultant with over twenty years of industry experience. She specializes in discovering, synthesizing, and distributing regulatory, competitive, and scientific information within all layers of an organization. Her research approach is thorough and tenacious, with a proven capability to deliver critical and timely information.
Her skills as an expert searcher are rooted in her training and professional experience as a corporate biopharmaceutical librarian. She has honed her approach to uncover less obvious publicly available information found in medical and scientific conference abstracts and competitors’ affiliations with key opinion leaders.
Before establishing IntellaTurn in 2015, she served as Director of Corporate Information Services at InterMune (acquired by Roche), where she was responsible for tracking current and emerging competitive forces in the virology, respiratory, and fibrotic orphan disease landscape. Her group created a company-wide email newsletter, distributed daily with industry news, competitor updates, therapeutic area reviews, market research reports, and literature searches.
Earlier in her career, Erin established a regulatory intelligence department at Genentech and a corporate library at Triangle Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Gilead Sciences).
In her free time, Erin enjoys reading literature and listening to audiobooks, cooking, and spending time in nature on the beaches of Eastern North Carolina.
